FALL 2025
LOUYAA Oakdale Poms & Dance is a vibrant program tailored for children from kindergarten through 8th grade. It offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and perform choreography for LOUYAA Oakdale Football games. No try-outs are necessary—just a commitment to attend practices and performances!

*Uniform Information/Required Purchases
Oakdale Poms registration includes the use of a uniform, with some additional items needing to be purchased. This year, all athletes will receive a team jacket, with a $20 printing fee added at registration. A $150 uniform deposit check is required at uniform distribution. This check will be returned or shredded once the uniform is returned in an acceptable and clean condition.

· Add-ons during registration:
Black cropped bodysuit- -0- (Oakdale Poms will order and provide)
7th and 8th grade only – $18 (unless you already have one from a previous season that still fits you)

· Must be purchased on your own:
Black compression shorts/bloomers
Solid black leggings
White no-show socks
Solid white shoes

· Registration will include:
Uniforms
Oakdale bows
Team Jacket

Uniform fitting will occur during the first week of the season. Please be patient, as this process takes time. We will start with the younger age group first.

*Practice & Game Information
Practice for the Fall 2025 season will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, between 6pm and 8pm, depending on the age group. The first practice is scheduled for Tuesday, August 12th.
Games will primarily occur on Saturdays, with some on Sundays, likely starting in mid-August. Poms will perform at all Oakdale home games and away games within a 30-minute travel time. The season will continue through mid-November, with practices held at the Oakdale Middle School Cafeteria.

*Exciting Season Activities
1. Powder Puff 2025: A special event for 7th & 8th graders to participate in a flag football game against LOUYAA Oakdale cheer. Poms, Cheer, & Football teams unite to kick off the fall season.
2. Youth Night: The entire poms organization (K-8) participates with the Oakdale HS Pom & Dance team in YOUTH NIGHT, performing at halftime during an Oakdale Football home game.
3. Parent’s Night Out: An evening for parents to enjoy while their children partake in fun entertainment. This serves as a great fundraiser for new uniforms.
4. Towson University Performance: All Poms squads will perform a group routine during halftime at a Towson University home football game.
5. End of Season Banquet: A celebratory evening for coaches, junior coaches, and participants, featuring a nice dinner and great company.
6. New Market Christmas Parade: A final performance opportunity for the girls as they walk through New Market, showcasing their skills to the community.

*Volunteers Needed!
To ensure the program runs smoothly, we need parent volunteers! Opportunities include:
· Head Coach/Assistant Coaches (no dance experience necessary, but helpful)
· Camp Volunteers to assist campers
· Team Moms/Dads
