Basketball

Winter 2024-2025
General Basketball Info

Coaches will determine practice schedule
Because October and November are considered the “fall season”, schedules may change in December when the “winter season” starts and we need to reapply for gym space.
After registration closes, your point of contact for all things basketball should be directed to your league coordinator. I am coaching too many teams to be the POC for everyone when the season starts. Your child’s coordinator will reach out to me if needed. This contact information will be given out after registration closes.
For K/1 we can accommodate most requests, beyond that, we cannot make this guarantee.
Parents need to fill out an at home evaluation on their player’s skill for proper placement. This is part of the registration process.
Games and practices for rec are held at one of the following schools, but not limited to if we need more gym space- Blue Heron, Deer Crossing, Green Valley, Kemptown, Liberty, New Market, and Twin Ridge Elementary Schools; New Market, Oakdale and Windsor Knolls Middle Schools.
Games for Mid-Maryland will be at high and middle schools across the county and neighboring counties, practices should be at the middle school your child attends but could be in a nearby location.
We will provide all jerseys
For all rec leagues, practices start in November and games start in December
