2020 Spring Soccer

LOUYAA offers soccer leagues for all ages and experience levels.

  • LOUYAA’s Alliance Junior Soccer Academy is offered to players born between 2016 to 2014 looking for a solid introduction to the game, with emphasis on fun, basic techniques and maximum ball touches. 
  • LOUYAA’s Alliance Senior Soccer Academy is offered to players born between 2013 & 2012 looking to develop in a team setting with a focus on teaching basic techniques, field positions and maximum ball touches while having fun.
  • LOUYAA’s Alliance Recreational Soccer Program is offered to players born between, 2005-2011. Its focus is on growing as a soccer player, learning new skills, developing teams, and fun.
  • LOUYAA’s Alliance Club Travel Soccer Program is offered to players born from 2003-2011. It offers each player a challenging and competitive learning environment, with the chance to play at the highest levels.

General Program Information

  • Club soccer was created in order to offer the best possible learning environment for the children of our community who are ready for the next level of soccer. Alliance SC’s primary goal is to provide players a fun, challenging and competitive learning environment, with the opportunity to play at the highest level when desired.
  • Teams play in the NCSL, CMSSL & EDP leagues, divisions vary from D1 being the highest level of play and D9 the lowest. Team placement in a league division will depend on the team’s skill level of play (premier, elite or developmental).
  • Practices are two to three times a week on either turf or local grass soccer fields.
  • Home games are located at Ballenger Creek Turf field, LOUYAA Park, FHS, OHS and ONP #4, away games vary depending on the league your team is in.
  • Coaches are all licensed from F to National Level certification, with years of coaching experience. Several are current or former College and High School Coaches.
  • All players purchase a uniform

Recreational Soccer Program (2005-2011 Birth Year)

General Program Information

  • This program is for players between 2005-2011, that have basic knowledge of soccer skills and rules of the game.  The program allows the player to experience the excitement of competition while having fun.
  • Practices are typically held at a local school twice per week.  Soccer is a team sport and players are expected to attend and participate in each practice.  This is where the learning takes place.  Games are for applying what players have learned.
  • Players will continue to build and improve their soccer skills while enhancing their physical fitness.
  • All players purchase a uniform.
  • Teams will play in Frederick County Youth Soccer League (FCYSL), teams are odd years (U9, U11, U13 & U15). Teams playing in FCYSL are grouped by boys, girls and co-ed teams in two year age brackets.  Within the age brackets there are typically 4 divisions, with D1 being the most competitive and physically demanding.
  • Home games are played at OES, LOUYAA Park and ONP #4. Away games very across Frederick County, depending on the home team’s game field.
  • All normally scheduled games take place on Saturdays, with possible Sunday games.
  • Coaches and assistants stay on the sidelines with their team during games.  Parents sit on the opposite sideline and are expected to be positive influences during games and practices.

Junior Academy Soccer Program Is For Players (2014 to 2016)
General Program Information
LOUYAA Alliance Junior Academy Program is for younger athletes, ages 4-6 years old that are looking for a positive introduction to the game of soccer, with emphasis on fun.
Academy practices are run by professional trainers alongside the volunteer parents, overseen by the Academy Director. Games are played on Saturdays and are run by parent volunteers with guidance from the Academy Director of Coaching.
This program implements age specific curriculum and provides players with the opportunity to learn and develop the foundations of the sport of soccer. We will not have any rescheduling due to weather cancelations; instead we have extended the program from 8 weeks long to 9 weeks long.

Coaching: Run by trainers with help from volunteer parents, overseen by head trainer & Academy Director
Training: Once per week Wednesdays at LOUYAA Park (35min long)
Dates & Times: Starting on 04/15/2020 & Ending on 06/10/2020 from 6:00pm-7:00pm
Games: 3v3 format, Wednesdays at LOUYAA Park (25min long after practice)

LOUYAA Alliance Senior Academy Soccer Program Is For Players Born In (2013 & 2012)
It is focused on teaching basic techniques, teamwork, field positions and maximum ball touches, with an emphasis on fun. Our goal for each season is to create a positive, challenging, fun and developmental playing environment for the kids.  Players in this program participate in training activities and games that are developmentally appropriate and aligned with various best practices communicated by US Soccer and its coaching education program. Training: Twice per week at LOUYAA Park
Tuesdays will be with the trainer & coaches, Second day will be with the coaches only (Day two be determined by the coach)
Dates & Times: Starting 04/14/20  & Ending 6/09/20 from 6:00pm-7:00pm
Games: 5v5 format, (Saturday Mornings) Home Games at LOUYAA Park & Away games in surrounding areas within 15min of LOUYAA Park
Dates & Time: Starting 4/18/20 & Ending 6/13/20 from 10am-11am or 11am-12am
Ball: Size 3
Uniform: Included with fee (Team Shirt & Socks)
Other: Meet The Coaches Event (04/04/2020) & End of the Season Scrimmage Fest (06/13/2020)
2012 teams play in small local league with away games no more than 15mins from LOUYAA park  

The Academy Director oversees all aspects of the program, and works close with the Volunteer Coaches and Trainers to ensure the program stays true to our goals.

Coaching: Parent volunteer lead practice & games, with one trainer lead practice overseen by Recreational Director
Practice:  Twice per week, One on Thursdays w/trainer, the other determined by Coach volunteer 
Dates & Times: Starting on 03/19/20 & Ending on 06/11/20 from 6:00pm-7:00pm  
Games: 7v7 format, 6 field players & 1 goalie, Saturday’s with some Sunday games, Home Games @ LOUYAA Park & Away games in surrounding areas 
Dates & Time: Saturdays starting 03/28/20, times vary by game 
Ball: Size 3
Uniform: $75 fee covers, 2 Jerseys, shorts & socks (Ordered thru Frederick Soccer Supplies) 
Other: End of the season tournament TBD
