SPRING 2023
LOUYAA offers soccer leagues for all ages and experience levels.

§  LOUYAA’s Alliance Soccer Academy Junior Academy (3-6 years old) & Senior Academy (6-8 years old) is for younger athletes that are looking for a solid introduction to the game, with emphasis on fun, basic techniques, and maximum ball touches.

§  LOUYAA’s Alliance Recreational Soccer Program is offered to players from 3rd-10th grade. This program is for players that have a basic knowledge of soccer skills, rules of the game, and would like to have fun while staying in shape.

§  LOUYAA’s Alliance Club Travel Soccer Program is offered to players born from 2004-2012. Playing on a Club travel soccer team involves a level of commitment on the part of players and families that one does not find at the recreational level. Coaches are licensed and have played the game at a higher level than would typically be seen in rec or select soccer.

Club Travel Soccer Program (U9-U18)
General Program Information

Playing on a Club Team is for the dedicated player who loves soccer and wishes to improve their skill. The level of instruction is both age appropriate and fun. Participation in this level of play involves rigorous evaluations, extensive and more in-depth training, as well as higher level competition.

§  Practices are two to three times a week on either turf or local grass soccer fields.

§  Club travel soccer was created to offer the best possible learning environment for the children of our community who are ready for the next level of play. Alliance SC’s primary goal is to provide players a fun, challenging, and competitive learning environment; with the opportunity to play at the highest level when desired.

§  Teams play in the NCSL, CMSA, CMSSL & EDP Travel leagues. Divisions vary from D-1 being the highest level of play to D-9 the lowest level. The level is dependent upon the team’s overall skill set and knowledge of the game.

§  Home games are located at Ballenger Creek Turf field, LOUYAA Park, Utica Park and ONP #4. Away games vary depending on the league your team is in.

§  The club provides turf fields & indoor facilities over ten months, to best support our players improvement/development throughout the year.

§  Coaches are all licensed from F all the way up to the National Level certification. Coaching staff at this level also have years of coaching experience under their belts. Several are current or former College and High School coaches.

§  Teams practice once a week with professional soccer trainers and many times receive instruction from core strength & agility trainers as well.

§  There are three levels of Club Soccer at Alliance SC: Premier, Elite & Developmental

§  Separate additional uniform fees are also requested at this level

§  LOUYAA remains the parent organization, and Alliance Soccer Club’s registered players will be a part of the greater LOUYAA organization.

 Recreational Soccer Program (3rd-10th grade)
General Program Information
This program is for players that have basic knowledge of soccer skills and understand the rules of the game. The program allows players to experience the excitement of competition while maintaining player enjoyment and fostering community involvement.

§  Practices are typically held at a local school twice per week.  Soccer is a team sport and players are expected to attend and participate in each practice; this is where the learning takes place. Games are intended for applying what the players have learned and allowing them to demonstrate their mastery of learned skills.

§  Players will continue to build and improve their soccer skills while enhancing their physical fitness with our professional trainers, once a week.

§  Teams will play in the United Recreational Soccer League (URSL), this is a recreational league that does involve travel to away games.

§  Teams playing in URSL are grouped by boys, girls, and co-ed teams in two-year age brackets.  Within the age brackets there are typically 4 divisions, with D-1 being the most competitive and physically demanding.

§  Home games are played at LOUYAA Park and ONP #4. Away games vary across Frederick County, depending on the opposing team’s home game field.

§  All normally scheduled games take place on Saturdays, with possible Sunday games.

§  Volunteer Coaches and assistants stay on the sidelines with their team during games.  Parents sit on the opposite sideline and are expected to be positive influences during games and practices.

*Uniforms cost extra.
