LOUYAA Oakdale Poms & Dance is a program designed for children, Kindergarten through 8th grade, to learn and perform choreography for LOUYAA Oakdale Football games. There are no try-outs, just a commitment to participate at practice and performances!
Oakdale Poms 2024 Summer Camp- Register Online
Current K-8th Grade- Oakdale HS- July 22nd-26th from 6:00pm-8:00pm
Fall 2024 (registration opens April 15, 2024)
UNIFORM INFORMATION/REQUIRED PURCHASES
Oakdale Poms registration includes the use of a uniform, along with some additional uniform items needing to be purchased. A $150 uniform deposit check will be required at the time of uniform distribution. The check will be returned/shredded at the time the uniform is returned in acceptable and clean condition.
All participants are required to purchase the following uniform items (estimated total $65-$100):
Add-ons during registration:
Black cropped bodysuit (Oakdale Poms will order and provide)
7th and 8th grade only – $18
Must be purchased on your own:
-Black compression shorts/bloomers
-Solid black leggings
-No-show socks
-Black jazz shoes
Registration will include the following uniform items:
-Oakdale bow
-Bow(s) for special cause awareness months/games
Uniform fitting date will be at the first practice.
PRACTICE INFORMATION
Practice for the Fall 2024 season Tuesday, August 6th- Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00 – 8:00 Squads will practice between the hours of 6pm to 8pm based on the age group.
Games will occur on Saturdays, and some Sundays, likely starting in mid-August. Poms will perform at all Oakdale home games, and any away games within 30 minutes of travel time.
The season will go through mid-November.

SAFETY
Your child’s safety is our priority. LOUYAA has “Return to Play” guidelines, and Oakdale Poms has added onto that since each sport is unique.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
In order to make this program run smoothly, we need parent volunteers! We currently need:
- Head Coach/Asst. Coaches (no dance Exp. Necessary but it is helpful)
-Camp Volunteers to help campers
- Team Moms/Dads
