Fall 2024
Our cheerleading program will cheer for the Oakdale Youth Football program. It is a memorable, meaningful and rewarding experience. Our athletes, ages 5-14, learn to cheer, tumble and stunt both individually and as a team. They’ll learn confidence, self-respect and teamwork from hard-working, well-trained coaches who also understand that safety is the number one priority.
Our Goals
Through Oakdale Bears Cheerleading program, we work to refine and improve our athletes cheer, tumbling and stunting techniques both individually and as a team. Cheerleading is a sport that requires hard work and athleticism, and as such, one of our goals is to promote a good physical well being. While we focus on the sport of cheerleading, our main goal is to instil more important values such as confidence, self respect, and teamwork!! We work hard to provide a memorable, meaningful and rewarding experience for all of our athletes.
As part of our goal to provide a safe atmosphere for our athletes, all of our coaches are required to take the NFHS Concussion course, and are provided with opportunities to partake in several other coaching clinics and hands-on trainings.
We are always looking for volunteers to help with coaching, team parents, snack schedules, etc. so if you would like to volunteer or know someone that would, please contact your area director and log on to the volunteer section of the LOUYAA website today!!
The Oakdale Cheer Uniform will be issued or ordered after the athlete has attended the mandatory uniform fitting. Please note: The uniforms that need to be ordered typically take 6-8 weeks to arrive and will be distributed at cheer practice before the first game of the season. It is imperative that the athlete is present on the assigned uniform day & time assigned.

- Varsity 8th Grade July 8th, 2024 (9:00 am - 1:00 pm)
- J.V. 6th & 7th Grade July 8th, 2024 (9:00 am - 1:00 pm)
- Pony 4th & 5th Grade July 9th, 2024 (9:00 am - 1:00 pm)
- Mini Pony 2nd & 3rd Grade July 10th, 2024 (9:00 am - 1:00 pm)
- Flag Kindergarten & 1st Grade July 11, 2024 (9:00 am -1:00 pm)
**The dates listed above are the ONLY days for uniform fittings so please arrive on the date and time given for your cheerleader. Wear athletic shorts and sports bra for proper fitting.
* IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Uniform items provided by LOUYAA are Shell Tops and Bottoms (Skirts) and will be handed out during your fitting. If we need to order additional uniforms the items will be handed out when they arrive. Crop tops and shoes will need to be purchased by families. You will need to bring a deposit check of $100.00 made out to LOUYAA (do not date) to uniform fittings, this will be returned to you or shredded at the end of the season when you return the undamaged uniform.
Below is a list of items that will be needed for the cheer season. Please make sure you order in time for the first practice starting the first week of August.
1. White Cheer Shoes (plain white, no designs)
2. White no show socks
3. Black leggings
4. Black boy shorts or bloomers
5. Black long sleeve crop top for grades Kindergarten - 5th grade.

Please read, fill out and submit this form for each athlete registered. The cheer bows are a mandatory purchase and the customized warm-up jacket is optional.
